As a hotelier, what do you know about hotel slippers? Before introduction, first to understand the composition of
slippers: sole, cover, Bao head, wrap edge. Taking disposable slippers as an example, the general wrapping head
and the covering material are similar, the wrapping edge will choose non-woven fabric and plastic edge strips, etc.
and the sole is more EVA raw materials.
1. BAOTOU AND COVRE SURFACE
The raw materials of the baotu and the cover are generally non-woven fabric, laffian cloth, real beauty cloth, terry
cloth, canary, coral velvet, cut velvet, velvet, waffle and other information. As long as it is cloth, it can generally be
used as the head and cover of slippers Generally speaking, small hotels and hotels use disposable non-woven slippers
Mid-end hotels use velvet, plush, short plush slippers more; The hotel prefers terry cloth (wool, cut wool, waffle) and
cotton/linen/satin slippers.
2. SOLE
Now most of the hotel soles are still based on EVA, other raw materials and TPR bottom, PVC bottom, XPE bottom
cloth bottom, point plastic cloth bottom, etc., the thickness of the sole is usually 4-7 mm, the thicker the sole the more
expensive.
EVA SOLE:
The invention relates to a new environment-friendly plastic foaming material prepared by the copolymerization of
ethylene (E) and ethylene acetate (VA), mainly divided into flax and raw linen, etc. The advantage of EVA bottom is
that it is relatively robust, easy to wear and clean, and the price is relatively cheap. EVA bottom can be divided into
different thicknesses, general economic hotel soles will be used relatively thin, in 3mm to 5mm; The thickness of the
soles of the hotels that pay attention to the guests' experience is more than 6mm, and many are 8mm or 9mm; Some
hotels will add sponges to the bottom of the foot to increase the softness of the foot and improve the anti-slip function.
DEFECTS:
Easy to absorb water, not easy to corrosion, unfavorable environmental protection, easy to dirty.
TPR BOTTOM:
TPR is a thermoplastic rubber material, the process is divided into soft sole, hard sole, side seam bottom, rubber sole
cow tendon sole, blow molded sole, adhesive sole, etc. The advantages of TPR materials are softness and water resistance.
DEFECTS:
heavy raw material, poor wear (not wear-resistant), poor softness, poor bending (not folding), poor shock absorption
ability.
PVC BOTTOM:
a strong and brittle material with low impact strength. The advantages are high strength and low price.
DEFECTS:
Raw material weight, poor wear (not wear-resistant), poor anti-slip function, easy to break, poor air permeability
poor shock absorption ability.
XPE SOLE:
A chemical crosslinked polyethylene foam material, compared with other materials, good environmental protection
non-toxic, no odor, good elasticity, commonly used as baby crawling mat, car foot mat, etc.
CLOTH BACKING:
The sole of the hotel slippers has a choice of cloth sole, such as canvas, mop velvet, suede and so on. This sole
is suitable for wooden floors, soft and comfortable to wear, but also easier to clean.
DEFECTS:
The biggest defect is not waterproof, poor anti-slip function
DOT PLASTIC CLOTH SOLE:
Dot plastic cloth is not very popular in China, because many people find it inconvenient and not waterproof. However
this kind of sole has good anti-slip, soft and lightweight, good mute effect, and is commonly used in many hotels and
hospitals.
DEFECTS:
Not environmentally friendly, not waterproof.
3. WRAP THE EDGE
There are one bag, two on, three on the bag, one bag can not see the sole side, two and three can see the raw materials
on the sole side. Non-woven fabrics are cheaper (affected by the epidemic, the current market price of non-woven fabrics
is higher), and other fabrics are used for higher-priced slippers.
