WHAT IS LONG STAPLE COTTON
The cotton fiber used for textile can be divided into three categories: fine cashmere cotton a, long cashmere cotton

The relationship between long staple cotton content and yarn quality
When spinning high-count yarn, the physical properties of long staple cotton determine the yarn quality. In a certain
proportion range, the yarn quality will be significantly different with the content of long staple cotton. In particular, it
has obvious influence on the CV of yarn yarn, breaking strength of single yarn, hairiness, yarn
defects (detail, thick knot, cotton knot).

Adding a certain amount of long staple cotton into the fine staple cotton can effectively improve the evenness of the yarn.

Yarn defects: the average length of the fiber becomes longer, the average fineness becomes finer, the fiber utilization
rate in the yarn is high, the holding force is increased, the floating fiber in the spinning process is less, and the chance
of yarn defects is reduced. In addition, there are fabrics in the textile process mercerization process, etc., will cause the
difference in fabric experience.
