1
Sun all day
Drying the quilt is not the longer it takes. Prolonged exposure will lead to the fracture of the fiber in the quilt core, which will reduce the warmth retention of the quilt, but have a reaction. The more you dry, the less you keep warm.
The best time for drying quilts is from 12 noon to 3 pm. Two or three hours is enough.
In the early morning and evening at night, the moisture in the air increases, which can not effectively kill dust mites and remove molds. If the moisture is stained with the quilt, one day is equivalent to not drying.
2
Beat the quilt hard
In fact, beating the quilt hard will beat out the warm gas in the quilt, but it will reduce the fluffy degree, and beating hard will break the fiber and lead to caking.
Therefore, after drying, you can't beat the quilt hard, but gently brush the surface of the quilt with a soft brush. You can also shake the quilt gently to shake off the floating dust on the surface of the quilt.
3
Put it away immediately after drying
After drying, it can't be folded immediately. Warmth is easy for dust mites to reproduce. Therefore, after drying the quilt, it should be cool indoors and put it away when the heat dissipates.

How to dry quilts of different materials
Cotton quilt
The cotton in the quilt is easy to be damp and wet slowly, so it needs to be dried frequently, preferably every two weeks.
After drying, you need to pat it gently with both hands, and pull it away with your hands in case of serious caking to restore it to a fluffy state. It is appropriate to dry it for about 3-4 hours.
Chemical fiber quilt
The chemical fiber quilt is mainly filled with polyester fiber, which is not easy to absorb moisture. Drying is mainly for sterilization, so it can be dried in the sun for 2-3 hours.
Hotel quilt
Silk quilt, down quilt
Silk quilt and down quilt must not be exposed to the sun, because they are easy to be oxidized by ultraviolet rays, causing damage to the fibers in the quilt and affecting the thermal insulation performance of the quilt. Therefore, these two kinds of quilts are mainly ventilated and dry, and can be gently swept after drying for 1-2 hours.
Wool quilt
Wool has strong hygroscopicity. It is easy to attract insects when wet. It also needs to be dried frequently, but it can not be exposed to the sun for a long time. High temperature will make the oil in wool produce putrid smell, and it is easy to make the wool lose elasticity.
Hotel quilt
If you feel that the quilt has peculiar smell, you can spray an appropriate amount of lemonade on the quilt before drying, and then place it in a ventilated place to dry for 1 hour.
